World Theatre Day marked with songs, drama, and librarian recognition

The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, in partnership with the National Arts and Crafts Council of Seychelles, hosted a vibrant celebration yesterday in honour of World Theatre Day.

Held at the National Theatre, the event brought together students, teachers, librarians, and performing arts enthusiasts for a morning focused on music, drama, and cultural appreciation.

The ceremony began with a performance by the School Teacher Choir, which sang ‘La Colombe’ by David Philoe. The choir was led by Antoinette Dodin, a music teacher at Anse Boileau school and a well-known Seychellois singer.
