The Train the Trainer Programme on ‘Moutya’ is currently underway, hosted by Ambassador Patrick Victor.
The session aims to share knowledge on ‘Moutya’, including its history, background, cultural significance and traditional skills, helping to strengthen the transmission of this important part of Seychelles’ cultural heritage.
The session was attended by Programme Officers from the Ministry of Local Government and Inner Islands, representatives from the Seychelles National Youth Council, school teachers, staff and the Director of the National Arts and Crafts Council.
Through initiatives such as these, we continue to promote, preserve and pass on our cultural heritage to the community & future generations.
