The 2020 Byenal Sesel has been postponed until July 2022 due to the pandemic.
In the meantime participating artists have contributed work made during ‘lockdown’ as a way of maintaining the momentum and creative spirit of the biennale.
The result is the Seychelles ‘Lockdown Biennale’, an online exhibition of contemporary visual art featuring new painting, photography, sculpture, mixed-media, installation and video art works created by 39 artists from Seychelles and 15 other nations.
